Ho Ho Ho..its an old wooden wheel spreading some Christmas cheer!  (I just love the little vintage Santas!)
Another wheel...a little on the whiter side!  And vintage bulbs called shiny brights!
And speaking of MERRY...I used an old pastry blender and mounted it onto a piece of wood - voila...a photo holder (or recipe holder, or whatever holder).  And doesnt that little boy look about as merry as our own Sue Whitney picking through a pile of junk at a flea market???  Ive seen that look in her eyes! :)
A cabinet/chalkboard, the box on the right was actually a top for an old sewing machine cabinet.  I used chalkboard paint on it so the words could be changed, and so it could be used as a riser or flipped over and used to hold some fabulous treasures inside...a two-fer!  The painted Ohio box was actually a box used during World War II...a soldier sent things back home in it (it had the address, etc. on it).  Who knows what it will hold in its new life!
Vintage building blocks adorned with more vintageness...Santa, and the little snowmen were used to stick on top of cupcakes I think!  Sweet!
Paper mache cone trees (from a hobby store) with endless rows and rows of fabric, quilt, lace, and buttons and bling!  My fingers may never be the same (I seem to have a love/hate relationship with my glue gun!!).
Three sweet angels playing heavenly melodies atop a little candelabra!  So joyful!
One of my embellished skates to hang on a door or wherever...Let it snow!  (I think its going to!)
Ive had this tin can wheelbarrow forever, and have painted it a couple times...so...hoping it has a holly jolly Christmas this time!
These were a pair of old baby shoes that had been bronzed and made into bookends...  The holidays are looking a whole lot brighter for them this year!
Someones homemade sled - dressed up...Dashing through the Snow!!
OK...I love doing trees in any kind of container I can find...silver is my fav!!

Ho Ho Ho..it's an old wooden wheel spreading some Christmas cheer!  (I just love the little vintage Santas!)

I've seen lots of people posting on facebook about what they're thankful for - and we all have more than we even realize!  I'm very thankful for the life God has given me, the blessings and the wonderful family and friends He has around me.  And, that includes the friends I've found via the internet...at JUNKMARKET Style (and you all know who you are) - and for the friends I'm yet to meet here; through my blog (some I actually get to meet in person at the various shows we participate in - and I love that); and just through the sheer love of junk...and what can be done with it!

So, I wanted to share some of my junky Christmas projects with you.  We are getting ready for a Christmas show, so, I've been working overtime in Santa's workshop (aka my basement) - and this little elf has been sorta busy - and I'm  so, so happy to say I'm DONE!  Now on to decorating my house (after Thanksgiving dinner...).

Thanks, Sue, for this little corner of the world that you've nurtured at JUNKMARKET Style (and beyond...) into the fabulous place it is today...a bigger world all the time!  I enjoy being a part of it and am always amazed at how sharing and supportive everyone is (well, I really think it just comes natural for us junkers...).

I hope that all of you have the most wonderful holiday season, and that you're able to share it with the people who are most special in your life.

So...Happy Thanksgiving...and beyond!!

Kathy

P.S.  Now...on to that mason jar challenge...

Thanks for the comments and hope everybody had a great Thanksgiving. On to the next holly jolly holiday!
