Driving home one afternoon, I spotted a dining room table and four mis-matched chairs with a free sign. They were much worse for wear, but I happed to see a diamond in the rough. Shortly after finding them, I was at a rummage sale and spotted a buffet/dresser in need of some TLC. With a couple more chair finds, I had a set.

Lots of labor (of love) in this set. I sanded, filled holes, glued loose joints, painted, distressed, more light sanding, a couple of coats of polyeurathane, reupholstered seats on some chairs and made coordinating cushions on others.

Did I mention that I found some beautiful pale blue brocade table cloths, placemats, and napkins -- all for $6.00.

Unfortunately no before picture -- but hope you like what I did with it. I love it!
