Yay! Fresh off the presses and video camera comes a JUNKMARKET dynamic duo. This is so exciting. Let me give you the skinny on this product. The magazine is a 48 page excerpt from my current best-seller, Junk Beautiful- Room by Room Makeovers with JUNKMARKET Style, highlighting the best of the best from the book. It includes 5 room makeovers along with many of my favorite step-by-step projects. If you don't already own the book this will leave you yearning for more and there is indeed plenty more where this comes from. What's totally new and fresh? Something that we here at JUNKMARKET have never done before....a DVD. Woo hoo! The DVD includes a flea market shopping experience including all the tips and tricks, a style file, three different bathrooms three different ways, a creative workshop section with me, Kimberly, and our new Junk Hunk, Brandon, a video version of my daughter's bedroom makeover, and a personally guided tour through the "House That Junk Built". That would be my home! I have to say that this may be one of my favorite junking experiences ever...and that speaks volumes. We had an outrageously good time, shooting, writing, creating, and producing this DVD for you. I hope you have as much fun watching it as we did making it! The cover price is a bargain at $12.99. The contents will totally give you an upper-hand on how to cut costs and raise the coolness meter at the same time. Now that's a two-fer.

Where to Find It:

You can pick this treasure up on newsstands in locations such as: CostCo, Target, Lowe’s, Home Depot, Menard's, Borders, Barnes & Noble, Grocery Chains and many other outlets.

chezdoublewide writes: I just bought my copy of Junk Beautiful last night...wow! Talk about right up my alley! My grandfather, who passed away last April at the age of 99, was a garbage man his entire life working life. I inherited a warehouse full of beautifully aged junk - amazing collection. So anyhow, I was flipping through the magazine and nearly fell off my chair when i saw the refrigerator magnets made from old game peices. Here's why...my very first task at my very first job (in 1974, when I was 13 years old) was to collate those game cards and put them into a plastic bag! my parents were partners in the company that manufactured that product, called 'Fraction Dominoes' and my father was a co-developer of that product. Thanks for the great magazine and especially for the opportunity to share with other junkers! Posted: 3:28 pm on April 1st

How could I not know about something so exciting? Now I can't wait for the snow to melt so I can get a second look at all the junk that's layin around the farm we bought. I'm sure it will have a brand new meaning for me. Thank you so much for sharing all your wonderful ideas. Posted: 10:45 pm on January 17th

I did e-mail the Taunton Press and am just waiting to hear if they have any idea of what I could do to remedy it. Cherwood writes: I picked up a copy at the local Home Depot store last week and have watched the DVD twice already. My favorite part is the trip to the flea market. Elko Traders Market is my absolute favorite - I could go there every day. It looks like your preferred vendors are the same as mine! I recognized every single inch of the vendors spots that you visited. It makes me long for those warm sunny days to come. They can't come soon enough! These Minnesota days with 10+ inches of snow and below zero windchills get very long. Thanks for giving me a way to visit one of my favorite junking spots as often as I'd like.

CottageElements writes: I watched the DVD this weekend. I did find it at CVS so those who can't find it should check there. They only had about three left though. I loved the DVD and Sue's house is incredible. Was well worth purchasing for the DVD alone! The magazine was an added bonus. Hope you can find it!
