I had so much fun making this end table/storage unit by combining a couple of sunbleached-stained wine crate pieces, repurposed thrift-store spindles, custom powder-blue chalk paint and antiquing glaze. Adding a French cast-iron handle to open up the lid was the icing on the crate!

Honjestly I wouldn't be using wine crates as a table because I find the material a tad bit flimsy and the height of the crates to be a bit uncomfortable if we're talking about using it logically. Better to have them repurposed into some kind of storage box or the like instead. Posted: 12:11 am on October 13th
