This is just the bottom of a terra cotta bottom saucer. I gessod the heck out of it to seal it good. Did an off white and antiqued it. I thinned out some burnt umber and lined veins in it . that also added a nice touch.  Put the roman numerals on it. Free hand mind you.  Theyre a little bit off but it just adds the charm. I polyd three coats to seal it good.  I have this displayed on top of my wall heater during the summer. Under a BIG texas star. On my striped wall!!! Its approx. size across maybe 15 inches. Its a nice size piece. One could however make it a functional clock. I would use a diamond bit to drill the hole, put the clock mech. in and wah la. But I did not do this on this one. It was the only one I had in that size and I didnt want to risk cracking it so I just went decorative. But,,, if someone offers the right price,, its gone! Ha ha!!
Whew!! Ha ha!! I like it. Hope you all do to.
