JUNKMARKET made an amazing transformation of the Goat Barn at the Springfield Extravaganza into part of Vintage Marketplace.  It looked incredible.  And thanks to Don Hutchins of Junk FX for the addition of the letters!
The Barn was starting to take shape for Sues presentation.  She shared 25 Ways to Bring Vintage Home.
#6 was Garden Greats....Vintage for the garden, makes for a garden-a-go-go!
This Garden Great, a martin birdhouse with gorgeous patina, was purchased on the way to Ohio.  It is crazy cool!!
#7, Stuff I dont know 4 $400!  I have to tell you, theres a lot I dont know!!  And please dont ever ask me to be on Jeapardy!!
Heres Sue doing what she does...and she does it well!
We had great crowds for both sessions so people started using the haybales set out for the displays.  Hey (or should I say Hay), whatever works!
Topping off a busy day on Saturday we were privileged to kick back and enjoy listening to Bigg Country, a country band out of Indianapolis.  They were awesome and rocked the house!!  Thanks, Bigg Country!!
Libations were also available for purchase at the Saturday night event.  Great way to end the evening, dontcha think?!!
Ms. Sues bustin a move.  You go girlfriend!!
Diane Perry from the famous (or should I say imfamous...hehe!) Pfarkel sisters could cut a rug quite well herself!!
Some of my fellow JUNKMARKET girlfriends chillin and enjoying the concert!   From left to right Kathy Stantz of Nostalgias Cottage, Annie de Jongh of Grace and Corazon, me, and Diane Perry of the Pfarkel sisters.

Well time sure does fly doesn't it!  I'm sure you've been wondering where I've been.  After a two week stint in Arizona to help out my Mom out who recently broke her hip, I came home for only four days and it was off to Springfield, Ohio for the Vintage Marketplace held within the Springfield Extravaganza!  Unfortunately once there we found ourselves way too busy to post while Vintage Marketplace was in full swing.  We had a total blast, and can't wait to do it all over again in September!!  Thanks to all Jon Jenkins, show promoter, and to all the vendors and customers who made it such a huge success once again!  I didn't want you to feel left out, so here's some pictures of this top notch event!

CottageElements writes: Kathy, I've been home since Tuesday, and I still can't say I've caught up on my rest! But it was all worth it!! And we certainly can say we weathered the storms...literally! Between rains, floods, fog along with a multi-car pile-up that generated a four hour stand-still traffic jam, it still didn't keep shoppers away. You know we are die hards when it comes to "Vintage". This is truly the best show around!! And why then is September so far away? Can't wait to do it over again ;-)

Nostalgia's Cottage sold almost EVERYTHING! (Woo hoo!!) We all weathered some fog and rain and heat - but the customers came out in throngs (thousands!!!), and it was all good!

Thanks to all of you for your hard work, and for loving our show as much as we do!!! Looking forward to September!

Hugs from Ohio, Kathy
