Corbel Curtain Rod

This was an inexpensive curtain rod I made for my family room. Without the corbels (which I already had), the piping cost about $16. For the length I needed, this was a very cheap solution. What I did was I just want to Lowes (they had the black piping I wanted versus silver). I had them cut and thread the sizes I needed in the piping which they do for free. I also purchased three pipe end brackets and a "t" bracket. I attached the corbels securely onto the wall first, then screwed in the piping. Didn't take long at all and wa-la! You can also use this piping for towel holders, toilet paper holders, jewelry stands . . . the possibilities are endless!

CottageElements writes: Thanks. Life is good! I love doing all white with just touches of color. That way you can change it up! Right now I have just a few accents of apple green. Just enough!

I adore this idea. Window treatments can get to be a little ho hum... but not this one. Way to go! Posted: 8:34 pm on August 18th
