Operation Overhaul

Bought this for 40.00.  It was the ugliest piece of furniture I have ever seen. It came with two end tables that I later turned into small dog houses, which I will try to show later.  This piece was not real wood, but compressed wood. I don't like working with this type of material, but I knew I could make it work. I sanded it down and then put a thick coat of black on top and waxed it with a furniture wax.  Painted the rest with a antique white and then sanded again in certain areas and then went over it with a wood stain to give it that distressed/antique look.  Kept the original handles and just painted them with a black satin paint.  It turned out awesome.
