These spools are awesome! They are very sturdy and easy to work with. After Valentines Day is over they can be re-gifted as May Day Baskets. Yet another twofer from JUNKMARKET Style!
Here is what you will need. A vintage yarn spool, vintage string, covered wire, a coffee filter, grommets, a beautiful crystal, and vintage advertising ...just for fun! This is Mallo Cup advertising. How appropriate.
Drill two holes...one on either side of the spool.
Add glue to grommet and place one in each hole.
Use the covered wire as a handle for your candy basket.
Attach your bling with vintage string. You can use new, but the old stuff has more character. Just like me. At least thats my story...and I am sticking to it!
How sweet it is!
Stuff the coffee filter inside for extra detail. The candy looks prettier this way.
Stuff this littl puppy with as much chocolate as it will hold.
Then go ahead and enjoy the chocolate with a nice glass of red wine. Cheers!

A little bit of love goes a long way and nothing is as special as something you make with your own two hands. Ok...agreed, the candy and the wine doesn't hurt. You can't make everything!!!
