British Invasion Buffet!!

This was formerly a built in piece from a 1930's home. The buffet bottom and hutch top are two pieces. When I was working on it I found a Butlers button so you could buzz for the "domestic help" when you were done with the meal!

We found it in a nasty two tone salmon, needing a little fixing up, and here's the final product. The most fun of the whole piece; there was a hole nawed in the back where someone ran some wires out of it, I would guess. I make the comment on our Facebook page (Repurposed Designs) that I was going to do a British theme and would love to find a British license plate! Low and behold, we got a FB posting from Wayne at Heros of Thrift saying he would send me one, and you can now see it in the bottom left of the hutch; the bright yellow plate!!

This had its first showing last weekend and is for sale.
