I didn't reinvent the "wheel" on this project.  Others have had their own twists to using bicycle parts for different repurposing.  But this is my take on it.  I got a hold of some great bicycle parts lately including a couple of racing rims.  I figure the white spokes and racing graphics on the rim would have great appeal.  A reproduction antique bulb brings the light into the equation.

I've seen light fixtures like this make fantastic shadows on ceilings. I plan on kicking out more lighting and lamps soon along with everything else. Gotta get all this furniture redone and out of the way first. My three-bay garage is busting at the seams. Too many estate, garage and friend finds coming in. Posted: 7:03 am on November 18th

You must be like Santa's Elves working day and night in the shop! You have been putting out a LOT of great creations. This bike wheel lamp is pretty cool, the shape and size of wheels tend to make us think of lamps. I think I see some unusual parts in there as well...perhaps some small cake pans????
