A fairly simple design. Choose a base using bits of wood scraps you find. If anything hasd character to it and it's wood, I never ever toss it aside! Im not sure what the base originally came from - but it suited this project! The posts from a 4 post bed that was beyond repair became the new tree. I added some old chippy keyholes to the some fun coat hooks and voila!
