Put Your Feet Up...wine crate ottoman

I bought this old wine crate at an occasional sale a couple of months ago.

No real plans, but I liked the mix of black and red typography.

Then, while sorting through my To Paint pile in my garage, I came across some of these wood candle holders...and I realized that upside down, they looked like short spindle-y legs. I just happened to have 4 of them...imagine that? So I painted them up...and screwed them on.

Heres the cheater part...I grabbed an empty bin from the basement...and tossed a pillow into a burlap tree bag and tucked in in around the bin in the box.

Easy as that, an ottoman.  And I like it because then when I get tired of it this way, I can take out the pillow and use it for something else. Fun for books, plants whatever.
What would you use it for?

You might know my now that I am all about the "easy" projects. And this is no exception...I took an old wine crate, 4 wooded candle holders and some burlap...and turned it into a comfy addition to my sitting room...for now.
