Trash find: retro wrought iron shelf

All done and inside.  It holds lots of beautiful junk, dont you think?
The pics dont capture what an ugly mess it was.  Dirty, too. 
Some sanding and dusting, then a base coat of flat black with a light topspray of metallic bronze was just what it needed!
I love antique books.  The ones that are falling apart are perfect for decoupage.  There were no shelves so I made some and paged antique paper to the undersides.
I love it.  Just love it.  
All done and inside.  It holds lots of beautiful junk, dont you think?

I couldn't believe this big (7 feet tall!) retro, amazing wrought-iron shelf was in someone's trash!  The guy throwing it out was happy to help me load it into my truck.
