I decided to change my sideboard up a little and feature a hot chocolate bar with all the fixings!
I picked up this cute little medical cabinet at a local sale (you know me and my fetish for vintage medical pieces).  Itll work just dandy for holding all the fixins.

I love these little frames from Ikea.  A buck a piece....seriously!  What can you get for a buck now a days.  Not even a cup of coffee...ha!  And A little sign was needed just so you know for sure what youd be gettin!
And of course I need all the goodies to make that hot chocolate even better.   Some carmel, more chocolate, some flavored marshmellows, cinnamon sticks and/or peppermint sticks.   Whats ever to your likin.  Hmmmmm good!
Some gift tags were used to clarify what youre actually putting in those drinks ;-)  You could add a little spirit in there if you wish!  Its Christmas-time after all!
And I thought some coffee fixings might work in cocoa as well!  Im all for trying new things :-)  And the industrial thingamagig (great technical term) and silver tree is an awesome addition to this display.
And of course I need the hot chocolate!
I already had this awesome beverage dispenser and since there was no need for cold beverages, itll work as just the right tabletop embellishment, along with the cute little wire tree.
And some vintage cups (along with a couple new ones) are just what we need to serve up the hot chocolate!
Now all I need is the guests!  Whos up for some hot chocolate?

My sincerest apologies for being so negligent of my JMS duties.  I know....my bad!  But I'm trying to get back into the swing of things, and after having my house featured in a local home tour, I thought it would be the perfect time to show you some of my holiday decor!   In the past we've seen many a wine bar on this site, but how about something everyone can join in on! I decided to feature a hot chocolate bar on the recent tour.  This is something everyone can enjoy both young and old!

georgiamoon writes: Hey guys! Sounds like a party...of some sort. I really, really do need a road trip but I think I may have to wait until it warms up a little bit in Minnesota! Wow I would have been SO upset about someone taking that little cabinet...thank god you got it back. Knowing you, you will find so many things to do with it. Maybe it can show up in other posts that I can drool over! Happy Holidays my friend!

CottageElements writes: That would be an interesting picture...me and Georgia wrestling! Maybe we could do a webcast, lol! And I'd sure love to have you all over! Maybe some day? Don't you need a road trip? Btw, Georgia, that cabinet has a little bit of history. Bought it at a sale, paid for it, went to lunch and when I came back to get it, it was gone! Someone had taken it with them (supposedly by mistake) and it ended up in North Dakota. They had to ship it back and because it was not packaged very well, the glass came back shattered. Thankfully it was just the glass and so I easily replaced it. Some people can be so dumb!

What a magnificent bar...Merry Christmas...!
