Using old trim board with some great colors on them, I made a 2 and 1/2 foot tall EAT sign.  As you can see I get very technical with my angles.  I lay the boards for the A over the E to get the right width and heighth and draw lines for what angles I need to cut.  I assemble the letters with thin pieces of wood screwed to the backs of the boards.  And if you don't need to be reminded to EAT you can always spell TEA!
