Old Blue Prints framed in Rustic Charm

the perfectly imperfect broken glass gave it the super rustic feel I wanted. Yes I could have easily taken the glass out. But I didnt want to.

I found these blueprints for how to build this boat all scrunched up in a dresser I picked up. So I opened it up carefully, flattened it out and had them scanned at an extremely high resolution. I then brought them into my digital imaging software and removed all the creases and rips and  and enhanced the font a bit so it was clear to read. Then I had them printed out to fit the size of some fabulous rustic windows I found! they were the storm windows from an old boat house, so I found them quite fitting for these prints! Ya, they are pretty rough, but It's sort of the feel I wanted and none of the frames I had laying around did these any justice to their age!
