I had been wanting a pot rack for a while but they are so expensive in the store, not to mention "cookie-cutter". I didn't want something that everyone else had and I love re-purposing so I went on the hunt for an affordable piece of iron fencing. This was no easy task. Many of the pieces I came across were more expensive than the finished product at a store. I persevered and found this beautiful example for a pretty reasonable price, add in the crossbeams and hanging hardware, and I still came in under $100. All I had to do was clean it up a little and give it a couple of coats of paint.
