piecesofthepast writes: Hmmm...you don't live too far from me. I live in central Kentucky! I mostly paint stuff for my office at work, as I am a speech therapist and work with young children. Children are actually the best critics of art work. They will tell you exactly what they think. Everyone at my work calls my stuff "Dr. Seuss" furniture...and it's the ultimate compliment for me!!! I work full time at a downtown lawfirm full time, I work on my "therapy" (painting) every chance I get. I stumbled on this site quite by accident and I'm so glad I did. I always hesitate to show anyone my work, My house is crazy, I will post "Marilyn" a Marilyn Monroe Cabinet I just completed and another crazy table I've done this weekend.

Again, thank you all.....I think I'm o.k., I just don't know what other people ever think of my work!
