Okay, I know it's been a LONGGGG time since I've posted, but it wasn't anything intentional -- I just have been distracted.  You see, I added a new service to my business:  vintage rentals.  It's great for brides, photographers, and event planners.  So getting that up and going has kept me busy and away from some things I really enjoy, like JunkMarketStyle.

But consider this my relaunch into hanging out at JMS.  And though much of my rental inventory involves buying things (which is fun!) such as furniture, china, whiskey barrels, fur pieces, etc.  I still am able to make a lot of items.  And you KNOW I love it when they can be repurposed pieces.  I had a bride specifically request a bar made from pallets.  This is what I came up with....She seemed to be pretty happy with it.  :)

suewhitney writes: Today starts our year in review. In 2013 we lost a dear friend and fellow junker...Noreen Midgely, or as we know and love her, Junker Midge. Today id Miss Midge's 53rd birthday. We lost her far too young and see is sorely missed. Someone said she must be eating Angel Food cake today. I rather like that. Please send birthday wishes and your thoughts to Midge's family at https://www.facebook.com/noreen.midgley?hc_location=reminder_birthday. Happy birthday Midge...your JMS friends love ya!!!

Boerne_TX writes: Can you share the plan? I'm guessing the verticals are all from pallets but the top, middle, lower shelves are larger boards? Wondering about dimensions and the frame/structure. I would love to build one just like it :) Posted: 8:43 am on March 19th

Love the project, but it looks like it might be a bit top heavy. Is it anchored to the ground? Posted: 8:03 am on February 25th
