Junk for Storage

I needed a place to keep stamps and ink pads, and when I found this little box at a thrift store, I thought it would work.
It had to have a makeover, of course! An old window latch keeps it closed, and the handle is an old screen door handle. Now I have a place to store all those small stamps!
I found an old lunchbox at a yardsale for pennies.
It makes a fine first aid kit to keep in my car. Much better than scrambling to find everything in the glovebox!
Hopefully, Ill never have to use it, but its nice to be prepared.
I needed someplace to store odds and ends (OK, junk!) and had these freezer baskets from an old freezer.
A simple cover from an old tablecloth and some rope handles make it very functional.
This one got a liner from another tablecloth.
All this little cabinet needed was a good scrub and a little paint.
Besides the little cubby holes, each drawer has separate compartments.
It makes a great place to store small odds and ends, like buttons and hinges.
Whoever made this was a junker at heart, too. The knobs are made from brass shotgun shell casings!

A lot of the junk I come across makes great storage containers~so I can store more junk!
