Finally! A site where I can spread my wings! I have been a junkette as long as I can remember, and started with going garage saling with my mother as a child. Loving art, and being mechanical, plays into it, and I am always looking at things with the eyes of how it was made, and what else could it be...

My husband and I have been married for 15 years, and by previous marriages have 5 children (3 boys and 2 girls) between us, who have now blessed us with a total of 10 grandchildren (8 girls and 2 boys). We live on a small, private fishing lake in mid-Michigan and call it our retirement home, as this is where we plan to live, even after my hubby retires in a few years. I have one vegetable garden, and several flower beds, raised garden boxes/bed, etc. I keep busy, but am limited in activies involving energy and strength. It only goes so far some days. I love my projects, and my hubby helps me with parts of them with his woodworking tools so we enjoy doing some of them together. I'm so glad to have found this site!!! Now that I have learned how to resize photos, I'll be able to post some projects! I can't wait!

LloydsLandingofSears writes: Thanks Cottage ELements! Also, CajunQueen, I find the pumps in old soap dispensers - free or at goodwill or other resale shops for $1 or less...haven't found any cheaper. I let people I know that buy the disposable liquid soap dispensers know I'm interested in just the pumps when they're done with them, and they save them for me.
