Dragonflies

My weekend project. Dragonflies made from old ceiling fan blades and table legs. I applied a crackle finish to the blades by using dollar store white glue. I applied a base coat using black spray paint then applied a thick coat of glue. When it got tacky I applied teal acrylic paint. Spray paint won't work for the top coat (trust me). I sealed it after it dried. I think the crackle finish really mimics a dragonfly wing. A few flat marbles and glass tiles added some bling. The antennae are made from blue closeline wire. They are mounted on our house above our deck and really pop!
