found this old child's desk abandoned at the auction house. It was falling apart and duct taped together- I think that's why no one wanted it. I figured "hey, it's free" so I took it home and decided to put it back together again. It's kind of rough looking, but I thought if I painted it it was lose it's look. Folded beneath it are afghans that were crocheted by my great-grandmother and top of it are some more antique and vintage books that I have found in my dumpster diving expeditions.

Junk_Sophisticate writes: How cute is that! It looks like it would make the perfect side table. I found an old wood round children's table on the curb and use it as a side table in my living room. It's currently in it's "found" state however I'll be slapping on some paint in the near future (maybe).
