Here's a building block junk collage I made for our open house - just a painted cutlery drawer with pieces and parts, a little bit of rust -just because...and a very sweet vintage elf overseeing the project!
A few more blocks...and a little raggedy vintage santa...just spreading a little joy...
And a glittery pinecone glued to a candlestick holder becomes a "tree".
And put it all together...a Merry little Christmas!!!

"Building" a Merry Christmas - one project at a time (more to come...).

Shamrockerin - I got a few blocks at a garage sale, but mostly on ebay...cheap!
Jenny - I love the little Santa too - he was just kind of shabby and charming.

Kathy,
What an adorable project. Very cute little elf. BTW, you deserve a nap! You are one busy woman... hope all went well. Nothing like family time!
Glad your back,

Our open house is the 6th - and I wish you could come! I know we'll get something worked out sooner or later! Will take pics to share!
I've hated being away from the JunkMarket, but over the last two weeks we've been working like crazy women to get ready for our show AND open house - and my daughter visited for a week, and then Thanksgiving too- it was way too much fun (and gone too fast...). I knew when I got back on the site I'd have a lot of catching up to do - so many new posts and new members - I love it!
I've got quite a few projects to get posted too...
Talk to ya soon!!! Kathy
P.S. After re-reading this...I'm ready for an afternoon nap! Posted: 1:34 pm on December 1st
I know you mentioned your Open House is on the 4th. If you change it to the 13th I can make it since hubby will be in school only till noon that day. I'm sure your other guests and customers won't mind the last minute change. ;)
Please take lots of pictures too! I'd love to see your displays.

***By the way...you've been missed around here!!
