First I gave them an ultra good scrubbing and then laid them
out in the design I wanted.
Next, I marked the areas I wanted to bolt them together. I
used bolds, washers and wing nuts to connect them. I also drilled four holes in
various places in the back of them so I could molly bolt them to the wall.
Here’s the overall unit. It’s about 4 feet by 4 feet.

Remember the old galvanized bins I found at the junkyard a couple weeks back? I decided to make a wall unit out of them to display some of our treasures…

I painted a much needed wall in my livingroom. It is an accent wall that has waited way too long to get painted, so I am thrilled with the results and getting it done.
Than with the wall finished I could assemble a new tree I made out of a junk tree (newly posted). After that I was able to start decorating it. I feel like I accomplished quite a bit too.
Also shopped on Black Friday at 4:45 a.m. and made it out alive! Whew! Posted: 9:58 pm on November 30th
