Antique Brush Transformation

Ive had this antique hair brush frame for quite a while and thought it would make a nice frame.  I found the picture in an antique fashion magazine and attached it to the cardboard insert using matte Mod Podge.
I used tacky glue to hold the strands of pearls, lace, and rhinestones in place.
A vintage clip on earring along with a small piece of lace was added to the handle.  Then I punched two holes in the top of the frame so I could attach the chain.
A slip of my jewelry pliers put a small tear in her lapel, so a flower rhinestone from an old bracelet became a brooch.
Shes looking much better now all dressed up in her new hat.

A pretty hanging picture frame created with an antique hair brush.
