Viral Protection Society

Long ago and a lifetime of technology away, radios, televisions and even computers used vacuum tubes, small hand blown glass tubing filled with wires and gases.  Technology today does not use these tubes and they have been relegated to storage shelves, junkyards and other various places people use to relieve themselves of what they consider useless junk.  The tubes having spent a lifetime listening and watching the various signals sent through the airwaves became sentient and now felt useless.  Despondent over no longer being needed, the tubes banded together to form the “Viral Protection Society.”
