The sanitary napkin ring. It just does not get any better then this! Follow along and Ill give you some ideas about how you can reproduce this and make enough for a whole girls party. As Patrick said on Twin Cities Live...this could only be on the table when women are present! Cmon, Patrick...these couldnt be at a man cave party? Ah,hahaha!

This is big enough to hold a large and very absorbent vintage white napkin. Dress it up with flowers and a twig and you are good to flow....shootie doots, i meant go. Have you missed me?
The bracelet or as I see it a napkin ring is oh so well constructed. These brads are at each side of the vintage sanitary plaque.
Its all in the details...nothing short of amazing!
A little soddering on the inside and your good to flow. Ah,hahahahahhaha! Seriously I am never going to get sick of that one. Can you hear me laughing now?
If you dont want it as a napkin ring...you can always wear it on your wrist! Either way its fun.
HOW TO GET THE LOOK:
If you are planning a girls night out heres what you could do. Find one sanitary sign and color copy it. Make as many copies as you need on heavy cardstock and trim. Grab yourself some leftover cardboard packaging (flat or corrugated) and cut to the appropriate size for a napkin ring. Using grommets attach your copied sanitary sign to your cardboard. Place grommets at the ends of cardboard and tie with twine around the napkin. Poof youre done. Every cycle needs to come to an end. OK...I gotta stop now. Who has more fun!

So the story begins..... We were at the Pamper Yourself Trunk Show and Lanette walked past this bracelet made by the very talented Devin Johnson of Makeshift Accessories. She said...Sue will buy this within 5 minutes, start your clocks. In less than 5 minutes it caught my eye in a hurried walk by. STOP! Brakes! Reverse!I bought it on the spot....but I didn't see a bracelet, I saw something quite different. Sometimes I just think funny!

I asked Devin if he could make it smaller and he wanted to measure my wrist. I said no silly...it's not for my wrist, just make it this big. I showed him by making a circle with my pointer and thumb. By this time he thinks I am truly a half bubble of center. Maybe he's right...but I was laughing on the inside!

The moral of the story is different minds work in different ways and that should be celebrated. If we were all alike life would be ever so boring....that's a bad thing.

And so the "sanitary napkin ring" was born! This gives a whole new meaning to grabbing the brass ring. Ah,hahahaha!

This will be given away at Vintage Marketplace in Springfield, Ohio. I'm not sure how yet...but I will give you plenty of heads up before it happens!

Did you make this?
After you make it, show it off to other members in the Member Junk area.
