More Junk Decor

Everything here (except for the mantel itself) was inherited, found at estate sales, thrift and junk stores, or was a gift.
I bought the law books from a friend. The little bird is a family piece, as is the camera. The Indian clubs are also inherited pieces.
I found the bank bag for a dollar at a flea market. The pheasant feathers are courtesy of my husband, who likes to bird hunt.
The mirror was an estate sale find. It was still there on the last day~I guess no one really stopped to look at it!
I love how the silvering is wearing off the edges of the mirror.
Another inherited camera.
The paper covered apothecary bottle was a gift from my daughter. The scale was a junk store find.
The picnic baskets were found at different thrift stores, and the tennis raquets were inherited.

My husband fell in love with an old mantel in a Sun Valley antique store. The price was right, so we bought it, even though we don't have a fireplace. It's been a lot of fun finding just the right junk accessories!

Just a side note. I used to live in Meridian and Idaho City, ID, and my oldest friend lives in Meridian. How are things in the Treasure Valley? Posted: 12:01 pm on May 27th
