Garage Sale Cubby Table

I found this great cubby a few years ago buried under junk in the garage at an estate sale. It was full of hardware--screws, hinges, pulls, etc. It was $5.00! It has never had a real home until I added these fantastic feet to it!
These feet came from Ebay. The seller will make them any size. @Jim Healy--Im sure you could make your own!
This piece is HEAVY. Close to 100 pounds. Every last bit of it is made from 1/4 inch plywood--even the drawer dividers. The thin hairpin legs make it appear to float. It really makes such a utilitarian piece feel slightly more elegant.
Here it is in the rest of the room.
Here is a close up of the vignette on top. Antique books, a candleabra, a santos crown, and the Madonna make a subtle, but beautiful display.

I turned a garage sale find into an industrial statement piece that adds a touch of masculinity to an otherwise romantic, feminine room.

Thanks for posting such a cool project.
