I found a pink belt at a thrift store and decided to make a pin out of it.  All of my pins contain a piece of my mothers jewelry and a button.  The large silver piece on top is an earring.
These pieces were made from my husbands old watch band and my mothers earrings/buttons.
My husbands pocket watch and my moms buttons.
Made from old earrings, watch band and watch face.  Another one of my pin collections.

My mother had Alzheimers and was unable to wear her jewelry anymore.  I started creating pins from pieces of her jewelry and my grand mother's buttons.  I called them "Leona's Treasures".  I do this in memory of my mother and my grandmother.  I find old backing material from belts, watch faces, metal objects and just about anyting I can find that makes a good backing.

Linda writes: Thank you for your compliments. I am new at junk market so I"m not real sure how all this works but I do enjoy making the pins when I have time. I have a full time job with a local city so not much time to do the other things I enjoy. Posted: 8:16 am on February 11th
