the ceiling fan/heater in the bathroom: a new addition: a round heater that went into a square hole...   To fix the gaps I used old rhinestone jewelry, crystals, glitter & sparkle.  My industrial version of a crystal chandelier :)
funky little metal boxes that I got from a science/military surplus place: they hold my extra contacts, asperin, etc.   I added the words on a whim: they are the magnetic words intended for your fridge :) hehehehe..
My salvaged chandelier; from a restaraunt that burnt to the ground....it used to be shiny & sparkley, but now is black & burnt: & I like it that way :)  Some re-wiring & its perfect!
the bathroom: metal shelves that came from the scrap yard, the mirror is a mess up from another project, but its fine for me, I built the pedestal sink stand out of steel & the sink basin & faucet were left overs from another remodel :)  Lockers for storage (Ikea) $5 recycled light fixture, & custom plaster finish with oops paint over (and a bit of mica powder added in cuz I cant resist adding a bit of sparkle)
Living room wall: old tool box for storage, lockers found at a scrap yard (my pantry), old bookshelf handed down from my mom & misc other little oddities.  Custom plaster wall finish with leftover paint :)

A little glimpse into my apartment makeover: I live in a tiny apartment that is attached to my steel work-shop :)  did the whole remodel myself with the help of my besty: Marcella; she did the electrical & helped with paint/plaster :)   It's a tiny space that I share with my 3 cattins & Josh: perfect for us---almost everything is second hand, salvaged, repurposed, etc.  Even the paint all came from the architectural surplus store, lol.
