WOOT WOOO! Look at the legs on that lady!

We found an old table with a destoyed top, and took it's legs!!! Mua ha ha! It makes us sound evil :) BUT, then we found this old trunk! She was covered in travel stickers and looking great! We built a frame inside, attached the legs and buffed her up~!!!!!! We love trunks!!!!!!!!!!!

patina+whimsy writes: So funny....I pinned this on Pinterest a while back. Nice to know where the original idea came from!! It often gets lost. I have a similar trunk, along with several old suitcases that I plan on making tables from. I'm searching for legs right now!

Congrats on the feature! :) Posted: 1:37 am on April 7th

GypsyBarn writes: Legs! We love legs as much as trunks! Generally, we look at yard sales, at the tables people hate and toss .... garbage nights, when people throw them out.... we just take the legs lol! Even some chairs are legless now, but we find ways of using the rest of them! Its such a fun job! Posted: 8:43 pm on January 26th

CottageElements writes: Hi, GypsyBarn! When your post is "featured" on JMS it's placed on the main page at the top. It also usually gets tweeted and highlighted on facebook. Your post also found it's way to Pinterest and got tons of re-pins! Way to go!

GypsyBarn writes: Ok, I figured it out * self pat on back* RSS feature feeds. I had to do some googling to find out what RSS is, yes, we're that behind the times in the techy world here! But THANK YOU! That's wonderful! Posted: 11:15 am on January 23rd
GypsyBarn writes: LOL! Featured Where???? I always tell all my friends about you! In fact, we pulled a few of your books out at the Dinner table when the whole family was here for Christmas! There was so much ooo-ing and awwwwing going on! Posted: 11:00 am on January 23rd
JunkArchitect writes: You're being featured because you did such a great job repurposing the trunk! Quick, go tell ALL your friends so they can see how talented you are!

GypsyBarn writes: Thank you everyone! We clearly have a funky junky trunk obsession! But they have so many uses if one can think outside the box! If not, thank the heavens for inspiration like Junk Market!!! But, now I'm curious, what does it mean to be *featured* (technically non savvy in that sense :) ) Posted: 4:49 pm on January 22nd
CottageElements writes: GypsyBarn is our second member feature this weekend. She really knocked this trunk redo out of the park! Love how it turned out and what a great save. Kuddos to you on this one!
