Made from a birch branch (lightly coated w/ white spray paint to make it brighter), 4 little bird ornaments that were in my attic, twine and fishing line  from my craft cabinet. The only thing I bought were the hanging candle holders (had the white votives in the closet)
I had the grapevine wreath in my attic. I spray painted it white and hot glued the little love birds in there. I think this will hang on the door of the lodge where our recption will be.
there were plain clear glass cylinder vases that i bought at Salvation Army. I wrapped them in this crinkly brown paper that my hanging candle holders arrived in. Then I pit white pillar candles in them and the light will make interesting patterns as it shines through the papers design.
I almost threw the brown wrapping paper away! But then I noticed that it resembles tree bark and I thought itd fit in with the nature theme of my wedding decorations.

Hi everyone! Been very busy lately with wedding planning. Just thought I'd post some of the stuff I've done so far. The reception is going to be in a lodge called the White House. Outside is pretty and the inside is all knotted pine wood with a big stone fireplace.

We're very happy with the look (and price) of it, but we have to decorate it ourselves. My parents said that like it was a bad thing! I love making the decorations though. The lodge has terrible halogen lighting, so we're planning to fill it with candles and string white lights around so we dont have to use that industrial lighting.

If you have comments and/or suggestions please let me know! :)
