After finishing our basement I made the door and used vintage hardware.
This was an easy way to make a door. I glued 1by 6 pine to plywood cut to the size of the opening.
I had bought a whole box of junk for $10.00 at a flea market. It had these great hinges and the back plate for the door knob.

Re-used old hinges and door knobs on a new door.
