JMS Member Review 2011January 1st, 2012 in blog, projects
Wow, this was so much fun! I could have spent days (OK, maybe I did) going through all of the wonderful member projects that have been submitted here at JMS during the year 2011. It's amazing to me that the word "junk" takes on such different meaning to each and everyone of us. That, my friends is the beauty of "junk" and JUNKMARKET Style. JMS doesn't bind you to flea market style, to antique decor, to thrift store goodies, to roadside acquisition pick-me-ups, or dumpster recovered projects. JMS is a delightful combination of all these elements and other vintage recovery venues. JMS encourages you to take the plunge into the waters of expressing yourself and "creating your own style...one piece of junk at a time!"
We are the original and the one and only JUNKMARKET/JUNKMARKET Style. We wish to thank each and everyone of you for embrassing JUNKMARKET Style and for sharing your talents, your inspiring projects, and your thoughtful comments with everyone in our community. We want you to know that we appreciate your efforts and your amazing submissions you contribute throughout the year. You are a very important part of what make JMS the leader in this industry. Thank you and here's to an outstanding and "junkingly" fabulous 2012!
Please take some time to stroll down memory lane. I couldn't feature every project... even though I wanted to. I chose these projects as they are reflective of the many different ideas and projects you can find on this site. There are styling ideas, building projects, textile coolness, gardening goodies, paper productions, metal work, jewelry, artisans, and flat out practical re-use ideas.
I hope you treasure this moment of re-visiting as much as I did. Enjoy!
From Junker Midge - Industrial Wine Cabinet ...I know this was late 2010, but I love it!
From Judy Hill - Soft Industrial Cart Display
From Marcy Nelson - Candle Holders Made from Sewing Patterns
From Bec 4 - Belted tray
From Old News - She's Heating Up Spring
After you make it, show it off to other members in the Member Junk area.
