Before.  Builders grade brassy chandelier spray painted with bronze textured paint.  It still needed something.
After.  I love it.

When we bought this house, it had a brassy, builder's grade chandelier hanging in the dining room.  Since I turned the dining room into a sitting room, my husband moved it into the breakfast nook.  I spray painted it with textured bronze paint but it still needed something.

I saw this idea online and hoped that it would transform this ugly light fixture.  I made this drum shade with two 23 inch embroidery hoops, leftover plexiglass from the cabinet project, and leftover fabric that was once a drape that I bought at Goodwill.  The chain is made from leftover chain links and key chain split rings.
