Our Kitchen Island Transformation
December 19th, 2011 in member junkMy Mister and I went on a hunt for our island. We found the 80's style buffet for $35 dollars. Then we happened upon an old wooden counter top at a salvage yard. Sanded, painted and cut the counter top to fit, added wheels and spray painted the original brass knobs and THERE you have it. A new kitchen island with seating, wine wrack and storage. An island this size costs over a thousand dollars in a retail shop! We love it and our friends and family love it too!

Before its facelift that thing was seriously ugly. Your makeover is brilliant! And on a shoestring at that. Fantastic! Posted: 7:02 am on December 19th
