Reclaimed Materials Potting BenchDecember 16th, 2011 in member junk
I built this potting bench from reclaimed chippy fence boards that were a light pink color, tung and groove siding with chippy white paint, white chippy pickets, and blue posts. I scraped, sanded and waxed all the pieces then assembled. An old enamel bowl makes a removable vessel great for potting soil. I put some old large nails I had in some existing holes to hold tools and a small rusty grater is great for scissors. Think outside-the-box and use a potting bench as a buffet on a deck or patio using the pan as an ice cooler for drinks.
