I found this great copper and brass bowl/basin and knew immediately what it needed to be turned into.  I pulled a gumball machine pedestal and got other parts from a copper canister, silverplate stand, brass light fixture parts and a glass door knob.  On the center copper base in the middle, I stamped "Bird Island" so the birds would have a place to catch a drink from at water level.  Glass or natural rocks can be placed into the basin for added bird footing.  The whole basin top unscrews from the base for easier cleaning.
