This vanity seat makeover started with a vintage vanity seat with a rosewood finish, not much padding and pink fabric.  After sanding, I used my rusty metal paint finish.  Then removed the old fabric and padding and replaced with new thicker foam and dacron.  I had an old coffee sack and used the plain back to upholster the seat and used the front with the printing to make a pillow.
