Silverplate Spoon Trophy Birdhouse

I began this decorative birdhouse with the bottom of a silverplate ice bucket and a top from a silverplate serving dish. A vintage brass candlestick gave it some height along with a casserole dish tray and top as a base. The rest is a elegant mix of modified silverplate forks, spoons and other parts.

suewhitney writes: Well, well, well...look who we have here. This probably comes as no surprise to any of you here at JMS, but Gadget Sponge aka Brian Carlisle is the newest member of our uber talented contributor lineup here at JMS. As soon as I saw his postings I contacted him and asked him if he wanted to come and be a vendor at one of the JUNKMARKET Under Glass events. He comes from Louisiana...so that was probably a stretch. When I asked him if he wanted to be a contributor...he graciously agreed. I never give up! Brian is a great fit here at JMS, has so much to offer, and I for one am very excited to have him on board as one of the leaders here at JMS. He is a gadget man for sure and a sponge that soaks up and releases wonderful ideas and projects. Please give up a ginormous JMS welcome for Brian. Make sure to visit his sites and profile page here at JMS to learn more about him. I'm sure Mr. James Healy (Junk Architect) is looking forward to having another man on the list of contributors. TeHe! Welcome, Brian! So glad you are here and can't wait to see what you have in store for us for the remainder of 2011 and on in to 2012. Be Well, Sue Posted: 2:29 pm on November 20th
