The New Washstand! Ideal for any bathroom to hide those toiletries!
Double opening doors serve no purpose at all, but they look funky on there. We were contemplating having the inner doors open reverse direction in case you need an emergency roll of paper while sitting on the lou beside the stand ...... no need to stand up and open it the other way! But then laughed and thought, who is actually going to put it directly beside where potential potty training mishaps could occur? She is now done in all her glory with tons of storage space inside for items of any size!
Here is the before Dresser! It looked fine .. until you open the drawers and found the inside 3/4 missing. no drawer bottoms, no stoppers or runners to slide on , it was a right mess! So we diceided she could be repurposed and saved!

The Old dresser neeed to be saved! Beautiful wood need not be sent to the dump! We had a pile of old shutters and these ones fit to a T and had the unique look to them that fit her makepver just perfectly!
We had a spare washstand backing in our Wood Re-Use Pile ....... and thought it would be an ideal Tiara for the royal shabby sweetheart when all was said and done!
