Country Ham Bag Pillow

Only true junkers save Ham Bags. You can go as far as I did by adding cording around the edges before you stuff it, or not. But the grosgrain ribbon at the top is a good finishing touch.

The late Betty Talmedge designed a pillow like this over 30 years ago. She ran a cured ham business south of Atlanta and was visited regularly by Erma Bombeck and hosted an annual picnic at her plantation house for my husband's prep school alumni. A great lady.

Without the stuffing and with a long string added, I can see me toting this around as a flea market bag.

Thanks for posting.

Be well,
