A Hot Transformation

I found this old porcelain HOT knob at an estate sale.
This rusty old thingie came from the same sale.  I removed a valve that was attached to the top of the base; makes me think it was once part of a gas lamp. I sprayed it with a matte sealer inside and out.
The threads were a perfect match.
The knob screws on and off for easy roll replacement.
Perfect for the bathroom!

Two salvaged parts that were meant to be together.
