I think it is towel bar perfection!
Naked in the bathroom. If you cant do it there...you cant do it anywhere! Ah, hahaha! You know that I like clean and straight forward design. This project certainly fits the bill.
I believe the base is from an antique music stand. I could be wrong...its happened before. What do you all think?
The center rod runs through the base.
Adjustability is a good thing!
The rod at the top runs through this baby.
End stoppers are required for a finished looking project.
And this is how you do it!
The short version...
And the long version! Thanks Lee and Tracie. Youre AWESOME!!

Lee and Tracie of Histories are one of the many fine vendors found at JUNKMARKET Under Glass. They are uber creative and beautiful people to boot. I love that about both of them! Please give them a great big shout out and welcome to the JMS site. They made this stand for some other purpose (great projects will fill a multitude of duties), but after careful consideration we all decided it would make a great towel bar for a bathroom. What do you all think?

With any luck at all Lee and Tracie will be at our next show at Otten Bros. ....the "Pamper Yourself, You Deserve It"  trunk show scheduled for January 28, 2012.

Did you make this?
After you make it, show it off to other members in the Member Junk area.
Post your project photos

gadgetsponge writes: I really like this piece. It's industrial, elegant, victorian all wrapped up into one thing. I'm sure it's still got other purposes waiting for it in the future too. Posted: 7:12 pm on November 21st
MimiToria writes: Hee Hee, sorry Lani, but I own this great piece, so it's coming home today with me. It probably will be in my bathroom in between shows and at shows it will be showcasing my jewelry (it's intended re purposing).
Love that it is multi functional, beautiful and from two very beautiful friends creative minds even makes it that much better.
It was Sue that came up with the towel display idea and did the great shoot of it in her lovely home showcasing it.
Thanks again Lee and Tracie and welcome to Junk Market Style.
