Clean Sweep???

It actually looked clean and new...but I took my vacuum to it too.  Just in case ;)
I tucked some tarnished utensils in here and there...
And added assorted leaves...some cut from old book pages and some gathered by my kiddos outside.
Plus some cute little pumpkins layered on stacks of old weights and rusty saw blades here and there.
And these vintage knob photo holders reminded me of little rusty pumpkins with the sheet music leaves attached.
Fall tablescape done.

I love fall decorating...especially when it comes to repurposing with unexpected details.

When I was tooling around my local thrift store the other day I came across this old broom top.  It was "screaming" fall grass or hay to me.  At first I had second thoughts about using it on my table...but I got over it...

JunkArchitect writes: Laurel, what a creative way to use an old broom. You're right about the doorknobs looking like little pumpkins. Paint one orange and you'll have another cool autumn project.
