A great marriage of a file cabinet and a metal base. 
File cabinet found at a yard sale for $5.00.
Metal base has angle iron (L) on the top bracket so that the box sits securely in the frame.

I took an old oak file cabinet  and had my son-in-love weld a base for it.  (It was my Christmas present).  I makes a great end table in my office.
