What a great lot of junk. The colours on this old tractor grill are wonderful and the concrete base thingy has me conjuring up all kinds of ideas.
I was pleased to find the bakers rack because I have been looking for one for ages. Shelves are so handy and mobile ones are even better... and check out the scroll work on the top of the old gate :)
I picked up four of these old drip trollies. Any ideas what I might do with them?
And Mr and Mrs Dove moved in (uninvited) this week... and after a rocky start Mrs Dove is loving her new home.
He thought I was taking a picture of him but I really wanted a photograph of my GoodYear sign :)

This was a great week for junk. First I found some old hospital intravenous-drip trollies, four for $7 each, haven't worked out what to do with them yet, then an old bakers rack, which is something I've been looking out for for a while now. Then yesterday I went to the tip shop and I found a lovely old green gate, a chamberlain tractor hood grill, and this architectural something or other (concrete stand of some sort) all for $15! On my way home I stopped off at a friends yard just as they were dumping an old boat's life-saver and some nicely aged boat timber... impeccable timing! I also picked up a dentists lamp which isn't in the picture. It will go in my studio as soon as I clear all the real junk out :)

gadgetsponge writes: Nice stuff! I've got to get myself a tractor grill. I would paint the bottom of the drip poles green or something and hang bird feeders from them. You could even bury the base for more stability in a permanent location. I see what you were talking about earlier about the doves. So kind of you to get them going with the chicken wire.
